Trent The Teacher

Trent The Teacher's Story

Trent The Teacher may have just started in 2024, but the idea first originated back in the Summer of 2014 when Trent was going into his senior year at the University of Oregon.

The World Junior Track and Field Championships were being held in Eugene, Oregon, where Trent lived for school and where he volunteered to work the championships. Over 1,500 athletes from 175 countries participated during a six-day span. Imagine being surrounded by the best athletes in the world, 19 years and under, competing for medals.

Trent was completely inspired by the experience and to see so many different athletes from around the world in his backyard. The experience inspired him to explore becoming a Teaching English as a Foreign Language instructor.

Fast forward to 2020 when Trent decided to finally pursue a Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate with Bridge Education Group Inc. In 2021, he received his 150 Hour Bridge International Diploma in English Teaching IDELT Online - the most advanced TEFL certificate Bridge Group offers. He also has his 60-Hour Teaching Business English certificate and his 20-Hour TOEFL prep certificate.

Trent looks forward to helping his students meet their learning goals and for them to learn English so well that they can carry conversations in English with native speakers.
